Glock 17 Guide Rod - Made of Super-Alloy 17-4 stainless steel and heat treated to H900. 17-4 is a chrome-nickel grade of stainless steel that has higher impact strength, better corrosion resistance and high fatigue strength.

It is the strongest guide rod available, stronger than any other guide rod material and more reliable in extreme environmental conditions.

Less flexibility results in straighter shooting and more accurate target repetition.
